Set on 37 acres, the original 1900's soldiers settlement cottage has been thoughtfully extended to ensure the historic features of the property have been retained, including many of the original floorboards and brick fireplace and original Stove. A homely and extremely comfortable cottage, the main homestead now boasts four bedrooms, including a separate, large master bedroom with ensuite and balcony on the upstairs level. The three additional bedrooms are located on the ground floor and separated from the living areas.
There is also a separate 1br Studio closeby.
With beautiful views of the vines and surrounding mountain range, the large 9.8m x 5.2m lounge room features raked ceilings and split system air conditioner. Winter nights will be spent snuggled on the lounge next to the stunning Masport wood burner and family meals will be shared all year round in the 7.2m x 4.8m enclosed indoor/outdoor entertaining area.
In addition to its award-winning vines which consist of a highly regarded Chambourcin and Shiraz, the property capitalises on its close location to many wineries and wedding venues.
4 bedrooms + Study with double bunks and 2 bathrooms in the main house which is what you get for a 8 person booking + extra trundle and single in one of the bedrooms can bring you to 12 pax in the main Homestead.
Additional Studio bedroom and bathroom is what you get for an extra 2 guests (above 12) to a maximum of 14 pax. We are happy to negotiate access to the Studio for 12 people for a modest uplift in price.

The Minimum Booking price is based on up to 8 guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter in the required number of guests. Any guest number reductions are non-refundable.
** Please note parking is permitted in allocated parking area only - please do not park your vehicle on the grassed area surrounding the property.
Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be open for swimming for the September NSW School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays has completed.
Fires and Firewood : If the property has a Wood fireplace or Firepit then firewood will be provided after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays has commenced.
Guest Registration : Before guests are able to access the property, we will require an online ID check (scan drivers license) and also a visual Credit Check (scan credit card). The names on the ID and CC must match the name of the guest. The Guest Registration Document that we ask the guest to sign is a PCI compliant, encrypted and totally secure and trusted process, now used by 75,000 guests. This process is consistent and similar to what Hotels require for for ID prior to allowing access to a room.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021.
