Il Capannone is a cozy 2 bedroom shed conversion located right in the heart of the Hunter Valley. It's central location allows you to enjoy the quiet, relaxing afternoons the region provides.
Il Caponnen is equipped with a full kitchen, which means there won’t be any restrictions on the menu! Cook up the family favourite and enjoy a delicious meal, paired perfectly with one of the great drops you picked up earlier in the day!
Sharing a street with wineries such as Mt Pleasant, Drayton's Family Wines, and Tinklers you will be over the moon with the quality of wines available so close by! If you're up for a winery tour, book in with Weekenda and we can provide you with some great tour options!
The fun doesn’t stop there, because of its great rural location there is plenty of beautiful wildlife that frequent this spot and its surrounds! Make sure to g’day to Skippy for us, and also the donkeys!
This property does NOT allow pets due to the Donkeys.

This is a 2 bedroom cottage offering bedding up to 4 guests.

Bedroom 2 - Bunk
Bathrooms - 1
Standard nightly rate is based on a minimum of 4 guests.
Linen Supplied - This property supplies all linen - full bed linens and 1 bath towel per person.
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
All reservations operate under a strict No-Party & excessive noise policy as this property is in a residential area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy.
This property is managed by Weekenda, a licensed real estate. Weekenda staff are available 7 days a week to assist from your initial enquiry through to your departure and everything in between.
Weekenda will require you to sign an electronic guest registration prior to arrival which will ask for ID (drivers license or passport), list your guests with contact phone or email for Government Covid reporting, and to re-accept the Weekenda T&C's. Access Codes are only released to registered guests.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021.

We’ll be back!
Having just returned from a short stay at this gorgeous place I can’t wait to return. After an easy drive from Sydney we were met with breathtaking views of the valley and three equally gorgeous mini donkeys! The accommodation is cosy and warm and very well equipped which made cooking for the family so easy. Being such a short drive away from the local shops and attractions was fantastic. Watching the sun go down in the valley with a nice glass of wine was the perfect way to end the day. This was a fantastic place to stay for a weekend out of Sydney. The host was so lovely and accommodating especially to our 3 year old who just LOVED the mini donkeys on the property. Great recommendations for local places to visit and the views from the kitchen are just stunning!

This place was perfect for our family. Our host was lovely. The converted shed was so comfortable and clean. It has everything we needed and a lovely outside area to play cards and watch the sunset. The nearby Hanging Trees winery was a walk away and beautiful. To top it all off our accomodation had a fire pit and mini donkeys. We will be back!- Holly K from Sydney

This place was perfect for our family. The converted shed was so comfortable and clean. Amazing views with a lovely outside area to play cards and watch the sunset.
