Blaxlands is located in possibly the very best location in the Hunter. Just behind Blaxlands Restaurant on Broke Road and across the road from Hope Estate, so yes definitely a super short walk to Hope and yes you will be one of around 20 people in the Hunter @ a Hope Estate or Roche Estate event that evening - that can walk home - amongst the thousands that attend that come via bus, car and other.
Blaxlands has had a mini makeover recently which included newish furniture and a new kitchen but has original, presentable bathrooms.
Did we mention that it has Wifi, a pool and open fireplace?!
It has a nice undercover outdoor area at the rear and swimming pool. The front of the house has another casual area with vineyard filtered views to Broke Road.
Other nearby facilities include Pokolbin Village (General Store, EXP and Fawk Foods Restaurant etc). Lisa McGuigans Cellar Door, Pokolbin Distillery, and Roche Estate is only 900m up the hill with cellar door and restaurants. In the other direction is Circa restaurant for fancy eating and Muse Restaurant (2 Hats) a little further afield down Broke Road.
The Minimum Booking price is based on up to 10 guests. Any guests above this number are chargeable on a per person/per night rate. The system will automatically calculate the correct rate when you enter in the required number of guests. Any guest number reductions are non-refundable.
Bedding wise we have 3 x Queen Beds and 4 x Singles in 5 bedrooms.
There are also 2 x Single trundles that can be made up for 11th and 12th guests
Pools: If the property has a Swimming Pool then it will be open for swimming for the September NSW School Holidays and closed and Winterised immediately after the NSW Easter School Holidays has completed.
Fires and Firewood : If the property has a Wood fireplace or Firepit then firewood will be provided after the NSW Easter School Holidays up to before the NSW September School Holidays has commenced.
Guest Registration : Before guests are able to access the property, we will require an online ID check (scan drivers license) and also a visual Credit Check (scan credit card). The names on the ID and CC must match the name of the guest. The Guest Registration Document that we ask the guest to sign is a PCI compliant, encrypted and totally secure and trusted process, now used by 75,000 guests. This process is consistent and similar to what Hotels require for for ID prior to allowing access to a room.
Please also note that we may have installed a Wifi security camera at the front entrance of the property. We are progressively rolling these out through every property in 2021.
