Ranlagh Manor began life as the original Aberdare Colliery mining manager’s home dating back to the early 1900’s. It has since had a light-filled extension added and in-ground pool built within its large fenced block. Enjoy a relaxed getaway in the world renown Hunter Valley blended with the experience of staying in one of the few remaining buildings that saw it turn into the region we know today.
Perfect for small group and families, step across the road from Ranlagh Manor to the park featuring a pond for some bike riding and duck feeding! Alternatively, light the BBQ, dive into the pool and enjoy the warm summer weather.
A group of 4 guests will be provided access to the master and 2nd bedroom only. A group of 6 guests will have access to 3 bedrooms. All 4 bedrooms will be opened up for groups of 8. For groups of 4 or less requiring access to 3 or 4 bedrooms, this can be arranged prior for an extra fee.
Coming to the Hunter Valley for a concert? Take a short 150m walk to Khartoum Pub and be collected at the concert pick up point to save the hassle of driving in a dealing with parking.
Located just outside of Cessnock, the gateway to Hunter Valley wine country, Poppet Head Manor provides the perfect base camp for those looking to explore.

** The 3rd and 4th bedrooms are only opened up to more than 4 guests. There is an additional charge to access the 3rd & 4th bedrooms so please advise us if this is required for a group of 4 or less**
Arrival Details: Access to the property is made easy for you. We will send you an access code just before 2pm on your arrival day via SMS and you will use this code for the duration of your stay.
All reservations operate under a strict No-Party & excessive noise policy as this property is in a residential area. Failure to comply can put the security bond into jeopardy.
